What does your username mean?
Kasaurus
Kas - taken from my main character, Kaseiko. Many people refer to me as Kaseiko, or Kas, since that is my username on a lot of other sites. Kaseiko was unfortunately not available as a username on this site.
-aurus - taken from Taurus, my zodiac. Even Kaseiko has aspects of the taurus, like the symbol on her forehead, and bull horns.
Additionally: saurus makes it sounds dino-like which is an added bonus

What materials do you use?
For Digital: Paint Tool SAI
For Traditional: I usually use either just colored pencils (Prismacolor) for a piece, or a mixed media of both colored pencils and watercolors. What traditional materials I use usually depends on the piece itself; subject matter and size play a big role in deciding what materials I use.

How long have you been drawing?
I've been drawing my entire life, it's always been my biggest hobby. I only started improving and really getting somewhere with my art once I got in High School and joined dA.

How much time do you take on one piece of art? All in one sitting, or no?
This really depends on the size of the piece, or how into the piece I am. Usually I never do something in one sitting unless I am livestreaming it. Smaller pieces can take me as short as 3-5 hours, while larger pieces can take from 8-12 hours, or more depending on how into detail I go, and if there is a background or not. Larger pieces I usually work on a little at a time, so it can take me days or weeks to finish it. (or longer if I'm working on several at a time, hit an art block, etc)

What is/are your favorite thing[s] to draw?
I LOVE dragon-like things, or things with long anatomy, which is why a lot of my characters, even my fursona are pretty long. I just find drawing almost anything with longer anatomy to be really fun. I also love being asked to draw other animals or creatures I haven't drawn yet.

What is/are your least favorite thing[s] to draw?
Some of the things I don't particularly like to draw is human/anthro, and machinery/mecha. I also find geometric shapes and straight lines to be difficult for me as well. Sometimes I may want to practice them and do pictures with them, but most of the time, not.

Do you use a tablet? If so, what kind?
Yes, for digital art I almost always use a tablet. I have an Intuos Pro.

Can I use your art?
It really depends, I prefer you ask me personally before using my art in any way. If it's for a school project or something, then I may allow it more if proper credit is given. If you want to reference off of something for a pose or something, I'll allow it, but again, please credit me if it was heavily referenced. Please do not trace my art or claim my art as your own, as this will lead to you being reported. Please do not post my art on other sites either, unless it is through one of the share options and directly links back to my page. If the art was made FOR YOU via commission, gift, trade, etc, then you can do what you wish with it as long as you aren't gaining profit from it. I don't mind so much if things are being used for personal use, such as a wallpaper or printing it out to hang on a wall, but PLEASE DO NOT SELL IT. This is copyright infringement and can be punishable by law. The safest way to ensure you won't get in trouble is this: If in doubt, ASK ME FIRST.

Can I have a request/free art?
Usually, the answer to this will be: NO. I do occasionally take requests, but I will ask through a journal, poll, or through livestream if I am taking requests at the moment. It is not usually first come, first serve either, as I will choose which designs I like best and think would be fun for me, since if I don't like to draw something, it would take me longer to do since I wouldn't feel like working on it. My art status is always on my profile if you are ever unsure as to what is open or not, and I keep it updated, as well as my to do list. I get overwhelmed really easily, so it's just that I can't afford to draw requests for everyone that asks, but this doesn't mean that I'll never take them. The best way to get free art is by catching my kiribans, so keep an eye on those! If you note me asking for a request, I will respond with my commissions journal, or a charge for how much you would need to pay to get what you asked for (if commissions are even open at the time).

Will you be my friend?
Friendships are formed unconsciously, not by asking. It's pretty awkward to be asked this, so just talk to me, I don't bite. xD

If you make me a sketch/lineart, can I color it and/or post it on my account?
Of course you can color it! I'd love to see what you do with it as well. If you post it to your account, please give proper credit and link back either to my page or the original deviation if it is still posted. (:

For that matter, if you do any art for me, can I post it to my account?
If you commissioned the image, then yes (again, please give credit by linking back to my page or the deviation). Any other time, please ask first. I'm usually ok with it, but I'd like to know who's posting what ahead of time, and this way I can give you permission first so any 'art theft' accusations can be resolved quickly. Again, proper credit is always a must.

If you post a sketch or lineart, can I color it?
Unless I say in the artists description that it is free to color, the artwork is done for you, or I give you otherwise permission, then please don't.

Can you teach me to draw?/ I'm not satisfied with how my art is now, can you help me improve?
Learning to draw/improve is your own personal journey, I may be able to give you a few tips, pointers or critiques at times, but that alone will not teach you to draw. Practice, experimentation, reference images and dedication are just a few things every artist needs to do in order to improve their art, me included. Never be discouraged by any lack of improvement though, we all have our ups and downs. The important thing is to be patient and have fun! Art isn't something you should have to constantly stress over, just relax and let it come naturally. Sometimes this helps you improve more than trying to perfect everything. I learned this the hard way. Another important thing to note is: Don't stress out trying to find a unique style, your style will come to you in time. Until then, learn the basics of art, let loose and draw however you feel like it! Usually the way we draw naturally is our style. There will be many times when your style changes as you improve as well, and if you insist on just drawing in one style, it will be VERY difficult to improve at all, since you won't have an open mind for new things. This is where experimentation helps a lot too, it helps you discover all new ways of doing things, and who knows, you may find something you really enjoy doing that you never thought of! If you can't think of anything, try some drawing challenges. There are tons of them around dA, some of them are really interesting. Limiting your color pallets is another fun way to try something new. Here is a website with a bunch of different color pallets to try: www.colourlovers.com/palettes and here is a thing where you can design your own color pallet: colorschemedesigner.com/
I hope this helps someone, and if you ever have any questions, feel free to ask/note me. However, keep in mind that my art isn't perfect and I have a lot of improving to do as well. Different people have different ways of improving as well, so what works for me may not necessarily work for you. Trial and error is the only thing you could use to find the way to improve that suits you best.

How do I order a commission?
All information you need to know is in my commissions journal! It's all conveniently located in one journal (which is linked at the top of this journal, titled "Commission Prices") so no one has to search around. If you have any additional questions not answered in the journal, please ask me! It may be something I need to add and forgot.

Any other questions on an art related topic, comment below, and I'll probably answer them.
